When you visit Zim's for the first time you will be intrigued and maybe a little confused by the bar height. Back in the day Zim's served as a carriage house for many of the horse drawn carriages downtown. At the end of the day when the floor needed, shall we say "cleaning", they would hose down the floor and the water would run out of the building due to a dramatic slope in the floor. This slope measures 6-7 inches from one end of the bar to the other! Standing at the "tall" end of the bar you'll feel like a little kid again at the dinner table, but not to worry, walk to the other end of the bar and you'll grow six or seven inches!
